In the mountain ranging rockies peaking scenic sight far-as-the-eye-can-seeing B E H O L D & W O N D E R near the foot fall, l ower the gaze, beneath three- leafed stem gemmed, irregular, colour-coming- redder not for harvest, not bought and sold, not planted, not seed-packeted, not water’n’weeded, not needed out there on the side of a Goddamned mountain, just growing to grow, unseen, unknown, not lost until found . S o you gotta bend down low, put your cheek near the dirt, learn to expect the compressed explosive taste of glory , small , seeded, scarce . T ake it or leave it, the world is lavish either way.
