Prismatic Sighting

Considering a lens
           through which we see the world,
           through which we see ourselves;
Considering bias and clarity; 
Considering truing alignment crooked confounding; 


Look, as we acknowledge     

Giftedness         &           Beauty 

          in any given moment 

            we begin to see life
                          no longer through rose coloured glasses;
           
Look through faceted prisms
            gathering and scattering             

Colourfulled-light           &           Hope 

                           
            across even the darker hour. 


We may fear bending the light will skew the truth; 
            we are keening toward the flicker of risk in the peripheral; 
            determined,
                            we will not be caught unaware.

(without prismatic sighting we lose perception of the spectrum) 

Whether we slow waves of light or not,

             rainbows are there just the same; 

Thus, gratitude is the scope 

             to see what is all-ready there,
